Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Michael, from Ft. Myers, Florida. I am not new to metal detecting, but have not as much time to do it/practice as I would have liked, due to work. That's not a problem now! So I can devote a major portion of my time to treasure hunting!

Surfnturf, if it beeps, I dig it ..... coin, relic, or nugget. I haven't done as much nugget hunting as I would like since the "coin fields" are a little bit closer to the house. However, I do have access to a few claims that I can nugget hunt on and know of some unclaimed land that is also open. I'm still waiting for my first metal detecting nugget to show up.
