Hello everyone, newbee, retired two hobbies, treasure hunting and still lost in the 50s in to classic and rods. this summer I plan on spending most of my time in north central Pa.

im new at metal detecting and i haven't chose the dectector yet was hoping i could get a few sugjestions.Im looking at whites mxt. Im in the mid west stlouis area IL. side of river. Im retired and have some time on my hands the town and county's around me i am very familiar with and know of many old structures in areas i have hunted over the years would this be a good detector to start with i also think that i may get a cheaper money wise for my girl freind and or my son looking at a bounty hunter 505 mostly coin and relic hunting would these be good starter detectors
