I came here looking for some very specific information. I've spent a bit searching the forum. From what I read there are a lot of scammers. Most very amateurish.
And the veterans here are very jaded about it. I can certainly understand. Having received my fair share of "Spanish princess" emails from Nigeria.
So not to sound like a scammer I'll qualify myself a bit before I ask my question.
Recently retired to Luzon with the wife. Coin collecting was a bit of a hobby of mine. The Asawa has put her foot down and I need to thin the duplicates and extras in my collection.
Now I would rather not be ripped off (been there), cut (surfed that), or shot (got the T-Shirt).
I just happen to have a few gold and silver coins I'd like to sell for a reasonable amount.
So ...... wait for it ......... wait for it......... Are there any coin shops or reputable buyers on Luzon?
Somehow I just don't trust "Tito-boy" and his ramshackle cardboard sidewalk stand advertising Rolex's to cut me a fair deal.
