Jem,

  Not to change the subject, but I love that Axe. I've been trying to get my hands on a 777LNG for several years now, but no luck. I'd settle for Desert Yellow or Shocking Pink if they were made prior to'88. Play the strings off of it!

Yes , it's my fave. I also have a strat and a Les Paul, but the JEM is just so sweet to play.

I've inspected about 250 Jems over the last ten years, most of them with pretty much the same damage to the body, cracks at the trem mounts. Some people just should not man handle such works of art. Steve really pushes the envelope on this model as it continues to evolve.

I play mine fairly hard, but really don't whammy much. So far , so good, mine is two years old and still looks new.
