can someone explain in plain english how to alter a file created in a different programme to one that is recognised by this forum iv'e searched google for a way and if i change the file extension it does not display, i appreciate why you dont want word programmes sent in but would appreciate an answer to resolve the issue, even if this means take a photo of the item so that it starts off as a jpg file , thanks

If you are using Windows, use the Paint program that came with it. That's the name of it. Paint. It resides in your Accessories section of your Program menu. Paint will allow you to view your photos from your camera and save them as a jpg using the Save As function in the Paint program.

Using your mouse, click on Start, Programs, Accessories, Paint and open your Picture folder. Edit to your heart's content and Save As a jpg file.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
