Grabby and greedy does have it's negative consequences!  I have to agree with Theakiki,  we'd have got our butts tanned for sure!   But, cmaracing, you didn't say how old the kids are.  You've got to give them a little leeway depending on how young they are, and it sounds like you did that!

At the end, it is still a very cool dollar bill to look at!  I would definitely hang on to it.  Even if it only turns out to be worth a dollar!  It is still different!

What does the front look like.  It looks like the bill was somehow folded during the 1st print.  Interesting error.  Just doing a quick look around I'd and depending on the condition of the bill before it was torn, I'd say the lost you $100 to $200.  It still might be worth more than $1 but not much.  Only an expert can say for sure.  Try here:
