Strange stone - Found on top of Mt. Fuji - Japan.

Squishy:
That's a cool idea.  I have been thinking about doing a stone carving and leaving it on the bottom of a lake of the ocean for others to find.  I've done wood carving, but never stone.  Seems like a fun challenge.  The problem is that I am afraid someone will carry it up with them.  (Doubt I can carve and place one that is big enough that they would not be able to raise it.)  Then again, if I could manage to carve something big, I could simply push it overboard and then dive down to set it upright.  I was thinking something like an Easter Island head or something.  It would be fun to leave things like that in different locations for others to find.

Thanks for the post!

Thanks for the kind comments - I am indeed - that guy - now stones at the Nordkapp (most northern part of Europe) and a new one being made for placement at Machu Picchu in June this year.

Going to add them to Geocaching too - was amazed the stone was moved from its place in Fuji and for those who'd like to see the stone being placed - here is the youtube link :->

I like the idea behind it all, and without wishing to change to topic , i thought this link was also on the same basic emotional idea, but more on a armchair level as to humpffing up a mountain.

this one i am starting for myself , i just love the idea.
