Dear Homefire

I'm not following your argument...What does ..."Otherwise it's 'purity' much worthless..." doesn't sound English??

As you know, the PIM-2 Project has already been posted in its entirety and can be found on page 1 of this thread (and can also to be found in Lugatek.com Forum).

That's the reason I am urging Satanachia to do some 'Google searching' himself if he needs to fill any of the 'gaps' in this project that that he STILL does not understand...
I have certainly NO intention of posting the 'cracked' PIM-2 ver.05 Hex file on this or any other forum because it would not be an ethical thing to do. After all, Master Uykusuz (aka Sleepless, Elbombaci, Ahmed Akgöz) has given us an amazing opportunity to build this functional (almost professional) pulse induction metal detector - I, as an amateur detectorist, am very appreciative of this opportunity.

To all our amateur detectorists out there, good luck with the PIM-2 project. I, myself want to build this PI detector, as soon as I find some spare time...Wink

Ciao

Speedy_G

OK, I understand, but we can do  make something, we can program this microcontroler, some times is fear begin new things, but we are a lot people, some people can make the function of LCD, other  AD convertion and others to critical components and design of electronic hardware, really we can do it. Smiley
Some times think about the why they put code lock, but we are of different country's, different nations, I'm from of Mexico and like the technology, but this code in this design, is not sure that a Mexican guy get a metal detector PM-2 in a store, for many reason is experimental, and experts in treasure hunters, only trust in TRADEMARKS (Garrett,FISHER, ETC), other is the import payments to aduanal law, and other, the people don't know  of existence of this detector and they will not know... .etc.
and then why don't thing about it, and share with us the code of  1 version, whitout discriminer and other stuffs, only the basic  Pray Pray Pray...for begin to learn...

thanks for read

Dear nickel_n

Nice to hear from you again...

I think that you did not fully understand my last post. I want to build the 'digital version' of the Delta Pulse 2+ PI detector, otherwise known as PIM-2, which many people are building with the assistance of many metal detecting forums such as Teknoloji Ekibi, Lugatek and Geotech1 amongst others. I think that the THunting forum has lagged behind somewhat in this respect.

If you go back a few years to my replies on this thread (specifically reply #10 and #28), you will see that I posted 4 photographs of my Delta Pulse 2+ that I was busy building at the time. In addition, in reply #30 of this same thread I posted 2 photos of my successfully completed Delta Pulse 2+ metal detector. So, yes, I successfully completed the construction of my Delta Pulse 2+ PI detector (which, by the way uses the hex file that does not count down from the 200 on/off events). I also mentioned in my previous posts in this same forum that I was very happy with the performance of the Delta Pulse 2+. I wouldn't trade it for the world...I've had lots of fun using my metal detector on the beaches here in Cape Town.
Now what I am saying, is that I want to build the fully-digital PIM-2 ver.05 metal detector, because now I have the fully-functional hex file that does not count down from 500 on/off events.
I have been waiting for this opportunity, and so now I feel that the time is right in order to build this now-famous fully-digital Pulse Induction metal detector designed by our Master Uykusuz.

I hope that it is now clear to you that I have NOT yet built the PIM-2 metal detector, but I have the intention to do so as soon as I find some free time to take-on this project Wink.

Best of luck...

Ciao

Hello Satanachia

I have put the ver.05 (no-count) PIM-2 program through a simulation exercise and it performs as expected using the AVR Simulator IDE.
But I cannot yet tell you whether it has all functionality until I actually build the PIM-2 which, as I said, I intend to do quite soon.
I will let the forum know the results as soon as I have completed it.

Ciao
