Well as you know I am in the UK at the moment because of my Son, and it has always been a dream of mine to go to the US, Plus its a lot closer to go prospecting.

Last month someone found a 50-60 ozt nugget found with a Whites TDI in OZ and then last year that guy found that 177ozt nugget,

And I have read that this last one was found with A TDI as well,

Minelab are releasing the new PI machine this month? the GPZ 7000 at around 10,500.00+ Aussie Dollars so it will be about $9200 USD they claim an Average of 40% increase in depth over the GPX 5000 and up to 200% increase in depth under ideal conditions and it comes with a Coil that is 14" wide, its not a DD and not A Mono and it has A chip in it and I think it is A Fixed Coil, Complete with GPS and Mapping Software, Dealers are taking $500 buck deposit and they still have not told people how much more than 10,500 it is going to be yet, and it looks just like the Minelab CTX3030 But it is Blue in Color. And even though it has a 14" coil, it can find Pickers smaller than 0.1 Grams.

Like I mentioned, come on over. Funny that you mentioned it has been your dream to come here, as I have always wanted to visit Australia. Maybe we can get are governments to pay for it as exchange students. You get your metal detector cheaper and I get me a chance to find a giant nugget, plus we get to see all the wonders of each others countries.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Minelab Burnt there bridge with me after I seen people trying to get warranty work done and they said they did not have the parts any longer.   How to hell much gold do you need to find to pay off the Machine and Make Money?

We would love to have you come here.  Can't figure out why, because Australia  has had the two largest nuggets ever found. (The welcome stranger (now gone) and the hand of faith and now this 87.45 ouncer. The biggest ever found here is a lot smaller.

Dusty Carl

The "Hand of Faith" is on display at The Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas.  Had my picture taken beside it several years ago.  (Looked for the picture...  couldn't locate it!)

There are two of them. One is a replica. They sometimes switch them around from  Las Vegas NV to Laughlin, NV. Never know which one is where or when, because sometimes they are not put out, and sometimes they are not marked as  Replica. Can't touch them either. Angry

Yes. I discovered it awhile back reading old posts. Thanks for reminding me. Seems like everybody has their 15 minutes of fame . I have the same detector, but havenn't used it in over a year now, but it still works.
