Its still for sale, up for auction in a San Fran museum, last I heard (don't know if its true or not) 375k.. Would be a nice nest egg
that's for sure. We had heard about it around the first of august but they weren't releasing any info until now out of fear and safety
for the finder.

This thing was found a few miles away off the feather river in some tertiary gravels of a tributary outside of paradise/magalia.
The water is still so low here we can get to places that haven't seen daylight in over 40 yrs, hec, all the boat ramps are still closed
and its darn near 1/2 mile walk just to get to the lake.
