I just logged on to Amazon, and through a 3rd party bought a used "A Guide Book of United State Coins: 2009" edition for just $2.49 plus shipping!

I figured that the coin prices haven't changed too greatly in one year and will be a good reference.

awesome man, i don't know if you read my post in the coins section about my coming across counterfeit coins in Afghanistan or not, check it out if you haven't.  anyway the appraiser said he believed that they were from the time period (1800's) just not made completely of silver.  which is what i found in my researching them while over there.  my reading found that the Chinese had in fact counterfeit US silver dollars in during that time period.  these things look and feel legit to one who wouldn't know any better, if we ever get together I'll show them to you,i posted pictures as well
