Missed this one, these are flint holders made of lead and lead alloy.

Hi BA,
Had this stuff a long time now, gives me something to do over the winter
also I have realized how much stuff I have put away,"still looking for that rat fink ring".
We just got a ton of snow again was hoping to get out soon that dam Ground Hog got it right...........HH   Johnnn

All my relics have been found up here in Canada I have never done any detecting in the U S, and I hope I have a good year this year also .

That rusted piece with two holes in it looks like a gun lock side plate.  The hammer screw went in the big hole and a little screw went in the little hole.  Cool bayonet too.  What were those propeller things used for?

You know your musket parts Joe, the Propeller shape items are "tools" which I believe most soldiers carried for maintenance on their weapons..

correct Johnnn. Those are musket tools. I have some revolutionary war ones which are similar, but none from the War of 1812. I have yet to find a lead flint holder. Very cool
