I could hardly believe my luck, I was given this set of masons medals .....For free I have only ever found two items that are masonic,
these are quite nice and all dated around 1890.

There were several mason members in my family-and Eastern star members which is woman's version of masons. Personally I don't believe in being one. If you study all the stuff about them, you'd see that they're not something a Christian should be a part of...Jesus did nothing in secret and wasn't a member of a secret order...  And I believe the members are being deceived from the gitgo. Just an opinion and according to what I know of them, its not far off the mark.

Nice medals, Johnn, real nice !! Collectors of those things would pay good money for it. There are some blue Lodge Bijous in your collection and some yorkrite medals. Real nice !!

Hey Johnnn,
I'm impressed.   I'd like to have had some of my grandfather's masonic and scottish rite medals, but rightfully those went to my uncle (along with a bunch of stuff that really should have gone to my mom...but that's water under the bridge).

Hi BA.
It is hard to belive that someone would part with these, some one was very proud to have worn these for good past deeds.
I have a similar situation arrising back in the UK I have an Aunt and Uncle child less throughout their lives who are very ill at the moment, my Uncle has a beautiful rack of WW2 medals and was a prisoner of the Japs in Burma
I had made a request to have these when the appropiate time arrives I just hope they come my way.........HH   Johnnn

Hey friends, there is nothing secret in it in our days, we just do not talk about it. All informations about masonry can be found in the internet. If you can select conspiracy theories from the truth  Wink
