A 1941 walking liberty half-dollar made it's way into my pocket today  Kiss  I also found a 1949
rosie dime, 2 buffalo nickels, some jefferson nickols, clad quarter, 2 memorials and some wheat pennies. A gold colored ring is in the mix also "haven't examined it real close yet to see if it is plated etc".......Old carnival grounds still producing goodies..

John in Va.         Sorry about the pictures....not very good.

Congrats on the half - always fun to dig up a larger sized coin. Enjoyed looking at your finds - I'm sure there will be more. Sue, smiling

Thanks everyone for your replies, it's always exciting to see the glint of silver in the ground. My hunting buddy was so impressed with my silver finds using the small 4.5 x 7 coil that he went and purchased one right away. It's a ton of nails and other trash in the ground where we hunt, the separation the smaller coil gives is great. I often find large rusty nails etc. in the same hole with silver coins etc...
