Go Up Go Down

Just got back from Pratt Lake. Smiley
Broke out the Cibola Detecting and snagged a 1908 Barber Quarter wjth a bullet hole shot clean through Cool RIGHT AT OUR CAMPSITE!!! Shocked
Checked everywhere I could were nobody was occupying at the time...lots of backpacking campers out this weekend with some of the best weather we've had this year...got the RARE chance to swim in one of our Alpine Lakes Grin
Checked some streams for gold pockets but no luck, only red granite with tons of iron to make the all metal mode scream No no!
No longer a silver quarter virgin, I feel like I'm on a roll Great
Very tired from the excursion Tongue ...must rest

Too Kewl!  Makes you wonder who needed to shoot a quarter so badly.
And then to lose it!   Idiot
Sounds like you had a great time up in the mountains.
Take advantage of the great weather while you can.

It makes you wonder who shot the quarter and why!  Did they throw it up in the air and do it, or was it up close?  They sure messed up the quarter!  Beautiful lake.  Thanks for the pictures and for sharing them.  Great job!   Great

Shoot the quarter impress someone, they will be afraid to try something on you. As to losing it hit a quarter and where did it go? The shooter probably did hunt for it. He may have even done a close up shot just trying to get a souvenir.
