Yesterday after work I found this nice 1939 Jefferson nickel. It seems in very fine conditions for being buried for so long. My oldest nickel so far. Still looking for the elusive buffalos  Rider

 Nice find. There's a 1939 double monticello and five cent in the series. Were you that lucky to find one?

No, it's not unfortunately. Just the 1939 worth about $0.25. But it's special because it was recovered from the ground  Detecting. The patina is proof.
