Found this in back yard, practicing, it shows up on my machine as coin, but as u can see just a clob of something, tried some magnets on it, nothing magnetic. So am thinking of chipping it apart see if it contains anything. Any comments, thanks Idea

Looks like a clinker to me. About the same as a cinder from a furnace but contains small amounts of metals.

Could be just a clinker like like wb4rave says, but keep in mind it's always possible it could be a meterorite fragment.  They fall all over the earth!  Don't be embarrased to check it out or ask cause if it's a clinker at least you will know and if it's a meteorite you will have a valuable peice of heaven!  Also, by asking is just another way to learn!  God luck, either way!   Detecting

Appreciate the comments Great. Here is a photo, hard to get with my cameras on closeups. Its very sparkly, silver inside, very hard, some white specks also in it. Well just wondering if this is a meteorite???  Detecting
