Nice going Dan!
A little something from different eras and they all look like they're in great shape. It sure is a good feeling when you pull a silver coin from an area that's been pounded hard for years. Must be doing something right.
Good Luck!
Mike

I have been over well hunted sites many times and always manage to find something new each time. You come in at a different angle, even the next day with the same detector and bingo you find a keeper.

I guess things like, weather, mosture in the ground  and the setting on the machine makes all the difference.

Glad it worked out for you. A well dug site is never ever dug empty.

Cheers,

Mike

I was using  the standard coil with my spectrum XLT.  I have an Eliminator coil i purchased from Jimmy Sierra that works great in real trashy areas and under things that may have an effect on it from above like metal bleachers or power lines. The coil is 3.5" thick and will not detect metal from above. The XLT is a great machine you just have to learn how to change a few settings for the area that you are hunting. Happy Hunting!!

Nice goin on tha hunted out park.

Places that are overly hunted can
produce. People will get discouraged
and quit hunting it for a while. That
is all it takes. A little time, and there
will be enough change to reveal more
bootie.

Also, an experienced hunter can usually
find a way to recover a goodie or two
here and there.

That even goes for a BH, or in my case,
the lowly Compadre can find stuff in hunted
out places. The limited depth and small coil
can reduce masking to the point that more
targets are revealed that were silent, or just
peeps to other machines.

Anyway, sorry for ramblen,

Tabdog
