I never found one of those but i have a few in my collection from my mother. Usually i find of that era 5 drch 2 1 and .50 between 1954 and 1973 . All of them contain amounts of silver.

LOL the problem is that our coins rust  Grin Grin Grin and that at the moment I'm not at the coast, not to mention that where I stay at the coast the beach population is very small unlike Cape Town and Durban, in Durban they mug you during the day if they see you wearing a plastic watch. I've been told that the council placed CCTV all over Durban and that the crime has dropped radically but that remains to bee seen. At the moment I hunt Boer war sites, and spend a lot of time looking for them, No I'm not looking for the Kruger millions but should I stumble upon a coin or too I would not be unhappy  Cheesy some of them are worth up to R70.000 or $8.000.
