Went out today instead of our usual Sunday excusion, snow is coming soon so we wanted to get at least one more shot at this site.
We had a good day it was dry and quite cold but that makes you work harder.
I found some nice buttons from 1812 the best being a King's 8th an Artillery button and a very nice 41st reg, top of a swagger stick with Canada on it not sure of the date for that item, 1863 Indian head penny, now this coin is very thick so I'm not sure if that is normal, two boyscout badges one is from the US, a Victorian 5 cent piece 1883, a bunch of cartidge cases, a really nice condition lead seal from France dated 1864 and a boyscout "mess tin" that had a surprise on the bottom first I am going to restore it and post it again.
My best find would have been the 1812 cuff links that were perfect when I found them but disintigrated as the day went on.....HH....Johnnn
