Hi all,

Went for my first beach hunt last night with David36 and Elroy, I gotta say I enjoyed it! Being from the west it was a nice change hearing the waves and freezing my butt off from onshore winds! Good to meet the guys from the forum!

Well I got to work with the Whites Coinmaster, it performed great, found a heap of coins, some nails, a few cheapy silver rings and a kids bracelet! This detector is so good it even found a plastic GI JOE

Thanks to David and Elroy for the warm welcome and I look forward to doing it again!

Hey Jaskel, great finds there! Out here in the US, those guys are what we call 'Army men' they come in a large package (of about 50 or 100) and you set them up to play with. Nice curved-beach picture too!

Jaskel, great job! I just got back from Jacksonville Florida. All I found was 35 cents. There must have been 15 people metal detecting on the beach Sunday morning. I guess the word is out in Florida! John
