Um...not sure what Bakelite means...it's plastic...circa 1946-1956 (I think) Great  It's an eversharp schick
OK, I found out the handle is Bakelite, the blade is still in it, it needs a key of some sort to remove it.

nice....that's the bakelite handles don't seem to turn up as often as the ones with metal handles.   good looking piece
