i would like to no how deep they go and how to find more i found this one under a big slab i found the roof that gos on it to at the moment it has a lot off mud in it as well as water it looks like it was field in at some point is there a way to find more using googal map or is this just luck that i found it

Interesting find - what makes you think it was for wishes and not just a practical well? How deep do people have to drill to find water in your area? You're really not planning to muck it out are you?

not shore but at mo i found 1 old penny a horse shoe and a spoon its only 4 feet deep at mo but as i dig more in side i will let you no more about it

Sue has a point, it could be a real working well---but then lots of interesting stuff got tossed down those, too (including money when people used them as wishing wells)
