Go Up Go Down

From the land of the Bluenose.....Navy Davy and I had agreed to head out at 0830hrs so as to dew the dew before the heat set in.

Quarter after the hour I was out side awaiting ND's arrival.  At half past the hour I was out side awaiting ND's arrival.  Finally at 20 to the hour I went back inside and was going to phone me hunting bud as he is never late.  A tad concerned.  Just as I was punching his number I looked up at the  wall clock and hung up....it was 0740hrs.  Dog gone ........ND showed up as always at 0815hrs and we did the dew at the golden arch.

First place we hit was rather sparse with the only thing of note was the bone shaped doggie thing depicted below.

Decided to pack up and hit another spot but were disappointed as the playing field was covered with footballers.....another time!

Next spot was infested with co ed ball players so we headed to yet another spot where I was greeted by a black lab who approached the Navy Davy mobile even before we were out of the truck.  Gave him the mandatory head and butt rub and he was on his way.  Coins were coming at a good pace as was the sweat coming from our pores as the day was heating up rapidly.  Dug another dog tag and headed to a rock to sit down and take a break dodging doggey dew on the way.  Navy Davy was gallant and kept on a swinging.

Began to smell a foul odor.  Sort of like my late Mother's  late dog Tess who loved to dip in the ocean and then roll in seaweed! Knew it wasn't Tess so it must have been me.  Pitied poor ND at the end of this dig when we were in the vehicle together.  Dodging doggy dew we continued the dig and I eyeballed a dog head..some sort of French Poodle I guess.....had a nasty thought and threw the head in my finds pocket.

Day was done with Navy Davy reaching quota.

Once home it was the usual suspects...meds and ice.  Then I entered the tube zone and sports heaven;
Baseball Blue..... Jays and the Orioles...Jays win their 10th in a row.
Football...............Italy and Brazil..........epidemic of yellow cards and dives.(Had a Brown Gold Brazilian coffee in their honour...was a bad brew youz in the Keurig)
Hockey.................later this evening with the Bruins and Hawks...game 5 of Lord Stanley's Cup!

No diggy diggy tomorrow for this bouy.
