	Last day at the fairgrounds, and possibly first gold! « on: September 11, 2011, 11:55:51 pm »

Greetings all, the final day at the fairgrounds parking lot started out very quiet,
until the beginning of the third row where a minor coin spill was found, 31 pennies and 1 dime.
1946 and 1956 Wheaties were found at then end of that row and at the beginning of the next,
my second dollar coin of the year, a Sacagawea, all told for the day was $5.16.
A gold toned bangle was found down the next row, I say gold toned because it has
no marks, but it sure is pretty, I will need to place it on the tester and see what it says.
Someone dropped their spectacles, and someone else drove over them, but they might be
repairable, and if so I will donate them

I'll keep swinging and I know that one day I will get a load of finds like that, though I am sure it will help once I have a pinpointer and a new decent detector.

but I hope to be able to bring my MD to Hammond Indiana and sneak out to some local sites south & east of Chicago.
