Found a lot of lead shot and other bits ,and then 3 silver hammered coins  Detecting The first 2 coins are not in     the best condition  Cry But my last one of the day was a cracker  Shocked Elizabeth 1st Halfpenny  1598-1600 .Very small coin [ 3/4 of inch ]So i went home happy  Great

We'd be ecstatic with any hammered coins  Smiley   (I mean SOME American detectorists get a chance to find them--mostly along the extreme eastern seaboard, but most of us have never get to dig a coin older than the early 1800's)   Thanks for sharing the pics.  Appreciated the opportunity to drool on my keyboard. Smiley
