Hi All,
Yesterday was a good start to our short season, with some nice ww1 and a Militia button.
The best find was from my detecting partner "Gordy" has called me up on the radio to ask for help digging up a bunch of musket balls after excavating a hole 3 feet by two feet and 10" deep we recovered 92 pistol balls from 1812 they had been scattered over a small area but made locating them difficult so we found out the size of this area and instead of digging them one at time we took them all out in about and hour.
This site is new but gave up some nice US and Canadian coins along with a few other artifacts.
Arrived at this place early and still in darkness so it was a little spooky wandering around in this small bush area till the lights came on.
Cant wait till next Sunday...........HH...Johnnn

nice John! go gettum, that 1909 looks in great shape! I found a 1943 Canadian small cent recently in very good shape. I need to post some of recent finds, and put it in there.
