Today's find. Very neat looking coin purse. All individual copper links. Thoughts?

It's a great find and a real mystery !!

Roaring 1920's purse or make-up bag . Or it could be much older ?

Thanks for posting .

Neat find  Smiley

It's a 4 in 1 mail weave which was common in europe medieval times. The links are butted, traditional armor weave would be riveted and not of copper. Of course this is a purse so copper and butted make more sense. I'd guess it's from a Renaissance fair, lots of mail knitters at those, but it could be older as well.
