Go Up Go Down

I had the opportunity to do some MDing over the Easter holidays. Good Friday found my son home from college. He joined me to hunt some deifferent spots. I pinpointed the spot and he dug our first silver coin, a 1947 quarter. End of the day found us with the silver, 47 clad coins, and some miscellaneous stuff including the head to an old Gilette double edge razor.
Saturday, we tried some local parks and recovered some odds and ends and 46 clad coins. Sore knees today but a ton of fun and some great memories.

Thanks Xavier, the round on the left is probably part of wheel like a bearing cover or something. The right round object I found in a park and is possibly an ornamental piece of a park bench. I really don't know.

I think X's question was about the cartridge in your collection. I am curious as well. Good finds all around.

Sorry about that. It's a 300 mag cartridge that someone had drilled the primer out and emptied the powder from. It probably was on a necklace of someone. Some Mississippi folks do stuff like that.
