Go Up Go Down

Who won the tree or Captnbad, who got the 150 yr old rail prize? Well I can tell you after 4 hours of solid digging, twisting and pulling with the tree taunting us,as though it was laughing THE TREE WON!!! yes indeed the 40 ft pine shall keep its prize tightly wrapped in its hands. We covered it up and left it as it was until the next metal detector finds it. I couldn't leave with nothing ,so I  started looking around and found these. I was surprised to find the horseshoe because that was the first thing we found three months ago this one is smaller so i put it up on the wall for good luck with the first shoe. No detecting on Sunday see ya all on Monday, till then,
Lou

Sometimes the tree wins. Just ask Charlie Brown.

I guess you left the treasure chest for the next guy. Very noble of you.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Yeah but it was hard to leave, I could have taken it out but I would have  had to damage a nice 40 ft pine  and i just couldn't do it..To much green in me i guess..

It seems that the tree talked to you: "This treasure is mine, back off" Keep  Rider
