Went out to Ft. Bayard archery range today for about 2 hours with my Tesoro Lobo ST and found about 18 bullets a button? and some trash. Detecting Boyd.....

Looks like you'd have found some arrows that snaked through the grass...I have always enjoyed archery and bow hunting. I prefer traditional bows-recurves primarily.  Some of my arrows have snaked through the grass and have gotten lost. I've used my detectors to find the missing arrows and have found arrows that other folks have lost. By the looks of your finds, I'd say that the area you were searching was more of a rifle range than a archery range.
