Thanks. Suprisingly no on the discriminating setting. I have a Tesoro Vaquero. I had the setting just above pull tab. Got my familiar beep-beep. Thought it was a dime. Suprised to see the gold.

Took the gold locket and the Canadian silver dime to the detector club, and won 1st place for both in their category. Locket - Jewelry, Silver dime - Best coin. Prize - Barber half dollar for each. (1898 & 1907). Kiss

Plus bragging rights. Grin
