Go Up Go Down

Hi, this will be my first post besides my introduction.
Hopefully the beginning of many, ok so lets go, found this gold ring 19.2K labeled 800 with a red stone in a field in Sothern Massachusetts  with one of my friends detector .
Now my question is has any one ever seen the particular mark with a heart, after some research the ring is Portuguese but that’s all I know and yes it was crushed a bit on one side.

.800 is .80% gold rather high for every day stuff.

Your sorta on you own here on the Hall marks.

Look through here and see if you find any thing.

The stone is most likely Ruby.

Hi, I used an older tracker IV that one of my friends let me borrow until I get my own and I would say it was about 4 to 6 inches in the ground in a heavily wooded area.

From the land of the Bluenose.....nice scoff on the bling.  No hallmark would usually indicate that it is not a precious metal.  Happy  hunting!
