Today I found this nice memento from one of the first, if not the first haunted house in the USA. The Amling's Haunted House opened in the early 50's in Melrose Park, Illinois and ceased operations toward the end of the 70's. The Amling's Brave Heart Award was a pin awarded to everyone surviving the then super scary haunted house. See an article from the Chicago Tribune on this spectacular haunted house:
