Out on one of my mates farms ,  Detecting and winkled out this lot .Found 9 Roman coins ,broken Roman brooch , 3 hammered coins [ bad Edward penny ,bad James 1st 1603-25 half groat ] Good Richard 2nd Halfpenny 1377-99 and last find of the day  Detecting a nice James 2nd 1686 Twopence .My mate found just 4 Roman coins . No no!

On Roman sites coins come up all over the place .A hoard is 2 or more silver or gold coins near each other and i think is 10 or more copper coins . Shocked

Hi xavier , did you mean coins  Grin if so the Richard 2nd is worth about 150 pounds GB And the James 2nd about 30 pounds .

That's a nice haul cant find anything with that age here so its nice to see stuff like that, I'm coming over in June so I will get a shot at the farm I usually go to haven't had much luck but maybe this time............HH........Johnnn
