Greetings everybody! Had a great week getting out in the fresh air and swinging my detector! Went out few hours after work each nite during the week and went with my son to explore an historic park site called 2 Rivers Park in Anoka Minnesota on Saturday. It was where the Rum river and the Mississippi meet and it forms a point. Settlers,explorers and Indians camped there from the early 1800's. The park seemed pretty clean, but we may have found an old lead musket ball near the base of an old tree. Maybe if someone can look at my picture and let us know if it's the real deal. Also hit a boat landing in another nearby park and dug 2 large medallions, looks to be like a spiritual sobrity medallion. Also hit the 3-ring silver rings. As always, we had a blast and were pretty wore out after scanning and digging all day.
I'm also including a pic of the rest of my finds and my project treasure jug. My goal is to fill it up before the snow flys, maybe unrealistic, but should be fun trying!

Yeah, the lead on the top of the pic is a sinker for fishing. The small ball on the bottom is what interests me. It's solid, no hole in it like a sinker, and a magnet doesn't stick to it, but it's almost perfectly round, so I don't know how they were made long ago, but it's neat to wonder! next to the dime  look's to small for a musket ball ,,anywayyou keep popping change like that you will fill it up in no time
