Not bad for a first find but youve got a couple of safety pins hehehehe you can how hold your pants up if your belt breaks lol

Alan, yea, The ring is chrome plated brass so I put the pins in there to make it look better.

These items all came from a vacant field that school kids cross as a short cut from school to their homes. The items were strewn along the path. The nice thing about it was the top soil was removed in 2005 to fill another lot and the ground was free from junk except the items the kids have dropped.

found a metal tab from a jfk rose plant from the 80s my best find to date lol

Me too. I am still waiting for my 1st ring. I went to the beach today to a small part where not many people sit due to the high tides. I found an old car key and a penny. I will try the beach near the hotels next time I get down there.

fishing paul,  so that is what that is!!!. I found this rose tag and didn't know what it was until I read your post. It was folded in half and I couldn't read the writing and thought it was a piece of junk. I didn't know they put tags on roses. I also didn't know you couldnt' take cuts from patened roses like this tag says. gambol

yeah thats what i have excatly
i have found liek 5 of them so far in my yard ive done alil reaserch on them but all they are is a patented breed of a rose its kinda neat to know that its illegal to take cuttings from them
