got a button today whith   turner and sons   and hammonds  it got a lions  head on top and three styips   in side a crest

Hi Lee,
This button if it is a solid one piece type could be a "Livery Button" usually the "coat of arms" from a land owner as most people worked the land back in the 17/1800's they were supplied at least a heavy coat for cold weather...HH...Johnnn
