I am lucky to live in an area with so many posible hunt sites. There were many taverns along this stretch of road in the last 130 years, I have located and detected several of them.. This site is on the side of the field, the tavern is under the ditch and highway when they widened the road, which was a dirt trail in the day. Here are several finds from last night before it rained. HH

Hi RH,
Thats a nice bunch of finds I know here in Canada the taverns were always along side the original old roadways we knew of a few here but they have also been lost due to road widening.
We are out tomorrow and hope for some interesting finds.......HH..........Johnnn

Yes there were many, I have located several sites, lots more old home stead sites to find then taverns. HH
