Hi Seldom, yep it is an interesting patch, lots of relics but not one coin Undecided

DW, the object at top right is the mechanism from a pocket watch, its marked " ansonia watch makers new york 1888,
The item bottom right i think is some sort of scribe ?

The other two i think are some sort of decorations , maybe of a casket or jewlery box, but i'm just guessing.

Hi Seldom, no mate you're not being nosey at all lol.

From the look of things it was a major campsite on the Turon river, i haven't researched it properly yet, but there are three distinct areas, a blacksmiths/ stables section a cooking area  and ageneral lucky dip area which is where the finds i've posted .

I went for a bit of an explore yesterday and stumbled across many deep shafts, had to pack up early cause i didn;t want to lose me dog !

Anyways i'll go for a wander down there this arvo and take a couple of pics of the place.
