Someone please tell me why I found all these coins, so many nickels, and not ONE DIME Shocked
All in about a 10'X10' area or maybe 8X15...you get the idea.
Spent another 2.5 there this morning and still didn't clean up everything yet.
I can understand a coin spill, buy why not one dime??? Crazy
At least I got a mini silver fix...not stamped but I have a test kit now to be sure!
Can't wait to hit the two old houses I have permission to hunt Wink

I know, you found Lucy of Peanuts fame, Psychiatric 5 cent cache bag.
I heard a rumor that she had buried her fees somewhere, but it has never been found.
 Shocked
Then again, I have been known to be wrong.    Grin

I'd be more intrigued for so many nickels and not even one piece of gold  Grin

Nickels are not as usual to find as quarters, dimes and pennies are. If you look at your coin finds, you should see many more pennies than quarters and dimes, and finally few or no nickels. Finding a lot of nickels was just coincidence. I once found 19 in one hunt after digging each and every one of my low tones. Not surprisingly, I dug much more pulltabs than nickels.
