Go Up Go Down

There is this stretch of beach about one km long.
I always start detecting from the left waking myself to the right.
I never manage the lot. usually by half way I have enough. Today I decide to start from right and walk to the left.
There I was nice and early balance the detector first swing first target $1coin.
And that was it for the next hour and 500m. Not one other target, not even a bottle top.
And then it happened. All targets were in a 20 square meters area.
It was the spot that I usually finish my day.
2 gold rings, a peace of a gold chain, 2 silver rings, a gold plated squashed ring, a cross with missing top
Old Silver coins: 2 florins 2 shillings 6 sixpences 19 threepences
Old Copper coins 4 pennies 2 half pennies,
Today’s coins
3 x $1 5x$2 1x20c 2x10c 12x5c 1x2c 1x1c
Also 2 buttons 4 badges 1 lead toy solder 1 lead toy gun 2 spoons a Volkswagen badge key, few sinkers and brass screws
When I clean the coins I will post some more photos.
Have a guess where I will be tomorrow morning. Sorry no price for the correct answer.

I always found Aussie beaches to be like that. Hot on one area and zero on others.

Nice haul, mate!

Back detecting the spot today.
But I tell you that. NO two days are the same on the beach. Try to remember it if you don’t want to be disappointed.
The spot was covered with a lot of fresh sand, the waves during the night and the council's cleaning machine worked his magic, on it.
I still manage to get some good finds, but I was expecting gold again.
Any way 9 modern coins total of $2.45 , 8 silver coins of the old currency ,a copper ring, looks like was gold plated at some point,
A toy lead horse and 3 toy lead battle ships.

I used to find fence staples and wire from those erosion fences they put up in WA. But always found at least 100 coins in a day. Like you say, you just have to find the sweet spot and work it to death.

Maybe no gold today, but, still, very nice finds!  Thanks for sharing with us!  Maybe more gold tomorrow!   That's what keeps us hunting!           Detecting

Those lead battle ships are rather cool. Did you date them?
