Congratulations on your finds, those are unusual coins to find and seem vintage looking.

By any chance, were you searching around any California beaches when you got a good signal on these?

Cheers & nice find-  Great
Jim

I'm in Okinawa, Japan. I found these at a local beach.

by looking at the stars & stripes, and wondered where in the USA these coins would be on the beach & figured California more than likely.

Good find,  Great

I have found a few of my most valuable items in the most unlikely places.  Because of this, I have been targeting gravel parking lots of the oldest public buildings lately because of all of the luck I have had in the past with gravel.  It sounds crazy but it has worked so far for me.

  Congrats on your finds.

Actually it's sounds crazy like a fox .... AND you don't have to worry about A) soil that's too hard to dig in unless you have a jackhammer or B) plugs getting lost or dying no matter how carefully you put them back.   Smart move and good tip.
