Monday I searched an old school yard in another county. Found some silver so it was a pretty good day. I used my Explorer SE Pro with the 7.5 ML coil this time.

13 clad quarters
15 clad dimes
1 silver mercury dime 1940 s
23 memorial pennies
3 wheat pennies
1 sterling silver st christopher medallion

Hey, John.....nice haul.  Unless a bunch of those were in the same hole, you were getting a lot of exercise.

BA........Actually I did find groups of quarters 2,3,4 in various spots. Some were just inches apart.
The small coil helps a lot where there are a lot of targets close together. This particular school has a lot of coins on it's grounds. Should be a good hunting spot for about another year or so.
I'll be heading to the water in the morning to give my Excaliber a test run. Cheers Grin
