Went over to the city park at the next town over, and they had a soccer field and baseball field next to each other. The ground was pretty soft, so after getting almost nothing in the volleyball area, I decided to hit the grass part. All went pretty well, was digging up a lot of trash in the nickel range hoping to get a ring! Unfortunately all was mostly pull-tabs and yet more trash. However, I wasn't skunked, I did manage to get a few things, so I'll be updating my list:
Detecting

6 - pennies
1 - dime
1 - quarter (Connecticut)
1 - nickel
And two strange things! One my wife said the grey plastic thing looked like a button - with a rivet on the end, but I wasn't sure. The other thing looks a little like an aluminum tube.. hmm not sure. I'll probably trash it.

But - it was fun! I spent about an hour total time.

Looks like a ok day of hunting. I also always check where the cars park if its grassy-gravely as when they pull there keys out of there pocket along comes the change!! happy hunting.....

Yea I did till the pesty little 9-10 yr old boys came around and started helping me then it got annoying. Oh, and one of the coins in there is a game store token too that I forgot to mention.
I'll probably go out and do some more today (maybe) I'm pretty tired.

Oh Zul32 If anyone is watching me detect and they stay their distance then that's fine with me.It's when they come in for a closer look,I just tell them that I'm looking for rusty nails,bolts,screws etc.. and they seem to loose interest real fast.. Wink

I f they ask why I'm looking for junk,I tell em that I'm cleaning up the grounds for the park.
Also sometimes and it might seem rude, but I just smile at them and point to my earphones and say I can't hear you,they get the idea.... Cheesy
