Happy Dad Day to everyone who's a dad,
I hit up a park this morning just south of where I live and found these things.
A whistle, a bullet, a soccer pin, a Spanish coin, another no so precious metal ring almost exactly like one I found
about a month ago, and this big giant red fake stone that had be believing for a micro-second, whew !  No no!
Can any one tell me what it is ?
Thanks for any input,
Wolfy

wolfy, I like the orientation of the stone.  That's a really neat perspective on it.   However, I think it is probably upside down---the metal triangle should probably be at the top....possibly a piece of costume jewelry from the first half of the 20th century.

Agree on the age. The metal work is kind of art deco

"The metal work is kind of art deco".......  yep, that's what I was thinking too which puts it generally into the period between the end of WWI and the start of WWII.   Your sample illustrations are better than the ones I was finding, gambol1
