Went to a usually good site, but it was covered in surface water which hasn't yet filtered away, this then started to freeze over as the temps dropped, so did a little detecting and then moved on to a dryer site.
My very first find was an 1812 silver guilt officers button "no makers name" and a key.
The other site produced a variety of things including a chrome plated training bullet I thought "the loan ranger" had dropped one of his silver bullets.
A bunch of keys old enough for the days when you had to remind yourself to use "unleaded gas", and as always the horse shoe, a silver Roosevelt dime, a Canadian Militia buttonand a "heel protector" from asoldiers boot..........Heard a lot of wood peckers ....HH....Johnnn
