Hi Robroy,
Being in Canada, and close to the US border and at this particular location we do find a lot of US coins the Indian Heads always seem to be in good condition and all were lost a long time ago, our belief is that Canadian Militia soldiers bought back "change" from their visits to the US side as this site was used heavily by them for training...HH...Johnnn

Yes, that Boyscout badge if that's what you call it is very interesting. Could it be some sort of Masonic pin instead? They like to use lots of symbols.

you can google english to china translation in chinese simplistic looks like the middle 2 characters spell china but everything i tried to get to work with the first and last symbol dont fit

More likely Korean or something, I am fairly certain scouting is banned in China. The old commie ideals dont exactly go with the ideals of scouts. Could be japenese to, as scouts are fairly big there ( no not is height save someone saying it lol). If you want to find out if its chinese just take it to the local chinese takeaway and ask if its on the menu lol.
