Go Up Go Down

Went to a picnic area in use since 1850's today and found this within 10 minutes! Used my brand new silver umax, my first relic hunt, only done a couple of beaches before this, so now I'm hooked!
If anyone knows what era or any other info about this brass? plate with a most likely glass stone, let me know! Doesn't appear to be any markings on the back

The string is from the sponge I gently cleaned it with, haha

Thanks!

According to the vintage jeweler its 80-100 year old belt piece gold plated with glass stone. Not bad for a first find!
