I was at San Clemente SB camping and detected the beach were the surf camp is at. I thought I would do good but heck, 23 cents and a railroad spike . These finds were all dug at 10" plus.Turns out there were 3 outher guys with detectors camped also in the camp ground. Looks like I got the finds only a scorp could find. I went back to another surf camp and did a little better,found a coin from Costa Rica and one from new zeland plus one from Spain

helllow Moondog looks like you you got a few nice finds at the beach ! What mode did you have the detector at ? I have a scorp, I use mostly in allmetal mode, last detect i was by the sea side and the salt water water was fouling my signal "  Got a few bit out there , mostly junk  an interesting bone was found looks like a skull in the shape of an elongated brain   !!!

Thanks for sharing.   A day at the beach is a good day.  A day at the beach with a metal detector is an even better day.  And a day you find the stuff the other folks are missing is really good.

I was running my scorp in all motion mode, I tried to ground balance in all metal mode but it was real noisy.I have another week at the beach in the middle of sept. so I will try to mess with ground balancing in the black wet stuff. the condom looks like it still has a good time left in it so maybe I'll carry it in my wallet for a while LOL . Grin
